b. to commit a sin
Pardonnez-moi, car j’ai péché. Mon orgueil m'a aveuglé.Forgive me, for I have committed a sin. I was blinded by my pride.
a. to fail
Votre thèse pèche par manque de rigueur méthodologique.Your thesis fails because of its lack of methodological rigor.
