Je suis heureux que notre collègue, et jusqu'il y a peu ministre, Cecilia Malmström, se soit exprimée aujourd'hui au nom du Conseil.	I am very happy that today our colleague, until recently Minister Cecilia Malmström, has spoken on behalf of the Council.
Il me semble, Monsieur le Président, que l'usage veuille qu'après que la Commission se soit exprimée, il soit proposé au Conseil de prendre la parole.	I believe, Mr President, that it is customary to invite the Council to take the floor after the Commission has spoken.
Il me semble important que l’UE se soit exprimée et qu’elle ait adopté une position claire et unie, qu’elle partage avec l’ensemble du monde développé.	In my view, it is important that the EU has spoken and that it has a clear and unified position, which it shares with the entire developed world.
À ce titre je trouve absolument scandaleux que la droite européenne - dont ses élus UMP - se soit exprimée contre la protection de la liberté d'expression, s'alignant ainsi sur la position des élus d'extrême droite et des europhobes.	Therefore, I find it absolutely scandalous that the European right - amongst them MEPs of the UMP - has spoken out against the protection of freedom of expression, thus aligning themselves with the position of the extreme right and Europhobe MEPs.
