Comme je ne me représenterai plus à ce poste, je voudrais profiter de l'occasion pour remercier très chaleureusement mon secrétariat, M. Rodas et surtout Mme Pribaz, pour leur vif soutien et je voudrais aussi remercier mes collègues.	As I am not standing for that post again, I would like to take this opportunity to thank my Secretariat, Mr Rodas and especially Mrs Pribaz, very, very much for their great support, and also to thank my colleagues.

Je suis sûr que la Commission nous le rappellera mais je résisterai à ce genre de tentations lorsque je me représenterai devant vous, dans deux mois.	I am sure the Commission will remind us of that but I shall resist those sort of temptations when I come back to you in two months time.
Ce fut pour moi un sacré exercice d’amener au Parlement une directive qui, lorsque je me représenterai aux élections européennes, sera devenue, je l’espère, une réelle législation.	For me this has been something of an exercise in bringing a directive to Parliament that, by the time I go for re-election will, I hope, be effective legislation.
