Comment mon œil, qui n’a pas même la faculté de se percevoir lui-même, pourrait-il se flatter d’avoir discerné ton essence, et comment mon cœur, déjà impuissant à saisir le sens de ses propres potentialités, prétendrait-il avoir compris ta nature ?
